About me
I am Mikael Filo, born in Tirana, Albania. I have been involved with technology since childhood, driven by a strong passion and an insatiable desire to learn more every day, holding both a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the Faculty of Natural Sciences at the University of Tirana. I've dedicated a significant amount of time to learning new technologies online, and one invaluable resource for me has been Udemy. This platform has immensely aided my growth, enabling me to delve deep into understanding the core aspects of the technologies I use. I have earned some important certificates on Web Design, JavaScript, Digital Marketing and Software Testing.
Software Testing is an area I have been working in recently, enjoying it very much. I'm thrilled to be part of the testing team for worldwide projects across companies like Rowenta, SkyShowtime, Disney+, Airbnb, Ferrero, Snapchat, Persona ID Verification, Idemia, MaxMara, Bershka, MiuMiu, Prada, Walmart and Kylie Cosmetics.
Due to spending a lot of time in front of a computer, I've achieved a typing speed record of 65 words per minute with 100% accuracy.
Exploration fuels my soul and I find enormous joy in traveling and discovering new destinations, each one a chapter in my ongoing adventure. I have to admit that Albania is hidden treasure in Europe. Alongside my wanderlust, the enchanting world of literature beckons, especially novels, fables, and fairytales that transport me to captivating realms. One of my favourite books is "The moneychangers", written by Arthur Hailey. Engaging in chess provides a cerebral challenge that I relish, having achieved recognition for my skills. However, my passion isn't confined to board squares, it extends to the reel world of movies and music. These passions weave together, painting a vibrant tapestry that enriches my life with endless inspiration and fascination.
